- Exclusive Accu-Length system eliminates part pullback often associated with other 5C, 16C and S-20 collet chuck systems.
- Maximum closing sleeve runout relative to mounting recess is 0.00025". Each unit is inspected and guaranteed to this tolerance.
- Patented floating collet retainer improves concentricity. On many 5C and 16C collets, the collet thread is not perfectly
concentric to the collet body. Since the collet retainer on this chuck is able to float radially, the collet position is not
determined by its threads. On some competitive chucks, the collets thread directly into the chuck body, causing them to become
slightly angled if the threads are not concentric. This will result in workpiece runout which will increase as the distance
from the chuck increases.
- Accepts all standard 5C, 16C and S-20 accessories & tooling.
- Short lengths, small diameters, and the Accu-Length feature make these chucks ideal for sub-spindle applications.
